OCTOBER 23-25, 2026

EDEN FARM ESCAPE, BILPIN

1.5 HRS FROM SYDNEY

"The body and mind cannot be separated. This is very much evident in my intuitive style and in the movement that emerges when we truly listen."

- YOUR HOST, PENNY MURRAY

Two nights away in the cool of Bilpin in the lower Blue Mountains.

Enjoy movement, relaxation and nourishment. Come home calm and connected.

  • Friday evening begins with a welcome to the Eden Farm Escape property, an introduction to the weekend ahead followed by a shared meal and a chance to settle in.

  • Start your morning in your body. Penny leads a 45-minute movement session followed by an open Q&A - a chance to bring a niggle, a pattern you've noticed, or a question you've never quite known who to ask.

You'll leave with a clearer understanding of what's going on and some practical advice to take home.

  • A simple, grounding pleasure. Time with the animals on the property is available each morning for those who want it, and one of those unexpectedly restorative things you'll find yourself looking forward to.

    Available both mornings

  • A chance to move through the Lower Blue Mountains landscape at your own pace, breathe it in, and let the land do some of the work.

The bush walk will be guided on Sunday morning but feel free to take walks anytime at the back of the property behind the cabins.

  • Libby Nathan is a Naturopathic Nutritionist, Herbalist and Biochemist who has spent fifteen years distilling the science of food into the practical and the everyday.

In the session Libby shares key nutritional guidelines to take into daily life followed by a cooking demo where you’ll get to taste, chat and ask questions.

  • Enjoy a delicious lunch of finger sandwiches, frittata, salad and fresh catered by The Grumpy Baker.

  • Saturday afternoon belongs to the inner life.

Ileana is a psychologist who works at the intersection of mind and body, understanding that how we feel emotionally is inseparable from how we live physically. Her workshop is thoughtful, grounded and accessible - designed to offer genuine insight into your own patterns without feeling clinical or heavy.

The session closes with a guided meditation led by Ileana, and a singing bowl meditation with Penny.

Sound, stillness, and breath - a deeply restorative way to arrive into the evening feeling spacious and held.

  • After your breakie baskets, an optional bush walk or a feed of the farm animals, we'll come together to share thoughts, reflect on what you're taking away, and ask any final questions before heading home.

  • Each morning, breakfast is delivered to your cabin.

Enjoy fresh sourdough*, butter,  local honey, homemade granola, freshly squeezed OJ, milk of choice, tea and coffee.

Eggs can also be collected from the farm chickens each morning for those who might like.

    *Gluten free options available.

Your Retreat Practitioners

  • Penny Murray

Soul Moves is the vision of Penny Murray, founder of Body in Song and the thread that runs through everything this weekend holds.

Ayni - A Quechua word from the Andean tradition meaning sacred reciprocity - the give and take that flows between us, the earth, and each other. It's the inspiration for the quiet current beneath the foundation of Soul Moves Retreat.

Penny's career began on stage, graduating from the Australian Ballet School before dancing with The Boston Ballet and Opera Australia. That life in the body led naturally to Pilates, and to decades of studying the profound connection between movement, mind and lived experience. Her teaching is intuitive, warm and deeply human. She has a gift for meeting people exactly where they are.

  • Libby Nathan

Libby brings a rare combination of scientific rigour and wholefood wisdom to her work. With a Bachelor of Advanced Science in Biochemistry from UNSW, alongside advanced qualifications in Naturopathic Nutrition and Western Herbal Medicine, she bridges conventional science with natural health in a way that is both evidence-informed and deeply practical.

Previously lecturing at two of Sydney's leading natural therapy colleges, Endeavour College and Nature Care College. Libby is now known as The Foodologist - providing naturopathic consultations and wholefood cooking helping people understand not just what to eat, but why.

  • Dr Ileana Hatton

Ileana holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a PhD from the University of Sydney, but her approach to healing goes well beyond the conventional. Four years with Médecins Sans Frontières including missions in the Occupied Palestinian Territories and on the Somalia-Ethiopia border gve her a profound understanding of the body as a universal language.

Back in Australia, she worked across acute care and community mental health before developing her signature Integrative Health Psychology practice, which weaves together evidence-based psychology with body-centred modalities including Hakomi, Acuenergetics, and 5 Rhythms. Ileana's work is particularly focused on the connection between chronic illness and the mind-body relationship an area she knows intimately from her own personal health journey.

  • Catering

The food you'll enjoy over the retreat weekend comes courtesy of The Grumpy Baker, a much-loved Sydney institution with roots going back to 2002.

Built on a passion for proper, old-fashioned bread, the founders set out to make artisan sourdough the way it should be: rustic, handmade, and completely free of preservatives and additives.

What started as a small Oxford Street bakery has grown into a beloved Sydney staple and lucky for us, they have a Bilpin outpost right on our doorstep.

  • The property

Set on 90 sprawling acres of white-fenced paddocks and backing onto the World Heritage–listed Lower Blue Mountains National Park and Hawksebury area, Eden Farm Escape is where the retreat comes to life.

With five beautifully appointed self-contained cabins, open skies, wandering farm animals, a freshwater dam, and nature trails on your doorstep.

Expect long mornings, clean air, and the kind of stillness that's hard to find anywhere else.

Only 90 minutes drive from Sydney.
